# I'm happy to speak when I can be useful.

I speak on AI, websites, and explaining complicated systems to the people who have to live with them. Most of what I know about speaking, I learned hosting the Myrtle Beach WordPress Meetup.

## Talk Topics

These are the topics I'm most ready to speak on. If your audience needs something else, ask. I'm happy to build a talk around what would actually be useful to them.

### [Using AI Without Losing the Human Side of Your Business](#book)

A practical look at where AI actually helps a small business, and where it gets in the way, drawn from training small business owners at Pro-How AI.

### [Websites for People Who Have Better Things to Do](#book)

What a business owner actually needs to know about their own website, and what to safely hand off, from someone who has built websites since the late 1990s.

### [From Confused to Clear: Teaching Technical Things to Non-Technical People](#book)

What years of watching people go from confused to confident have taught me about explaining anything complicated well.

### [Running Several Small Companies as One Person](#book)

What it actually looks like to build several small brands around one set of skills, and when it makes sense to bring them under one roof.

## Book a Call

Have an event in mind? Book a short call and we'll talk through whether I'm the right fit, what your audience needs, and the details. This books a planning call, not a speaking date directly.

Prefer email first? Use the [Contact page](https://kevinyoung.net/contact.md) and mention the event, and I'll get back to you.
